Courthouse Steps Wall Hanging

$8.00

Description

This is a pattern for making a 18″ x 36″ courthouse steps wall hanging. The pattern can easily be used for any size quilt, just add more blocks! The individual courthouse steps blocks are 9 1/2 unfinished.

This is a beginner friendly pattern. Look for “Notes from the Beagle” throughout. I made the cover mini quilt with scraps, but I give you yardage requirements if you prefer a more uniform look.  I used facing instead of binding. There is a free tutorial on facing a quilt on my website – it’s an easy method and also includes a way to hang your mini quilt, so two-for-one yay!

Fabric Requirements:
Both Color A (yellow) and Color B (blue): 1/2 yard EACH
Center Squares (white): 1/8 yard or 1 fat quarter
Backing: 1 1/4 yards
Facing: 1/2 yard *OR* Binding: 1/4 yard

Finished dimensions: 18″ x 36″

For my international friends, if you need an imperial/metric conversion chart – I have a free downloadable one available on my website under the downloads tab.

You will receive a full color pdf pattern with complete cutting and sewing instructions.
