A sweet friend of mine is, again, a grandmother! She asked me to make a quilt for her new grand daughter, and here it is! This is such a versatile pattern (and about to be for sale on my website!) that any color scheme will look great. The argyle design is a bit of an optical illusion – it’s easier to construct than you might think. The argyle blocks look quite sharp in black and white too! I think my next rendition of this quilt I might do primary colors, or a rainbow scrappy one with the black and white argyle.

I love the tiny daisies in the pink fabric – the line is called Farm Girls Unite by Poppy Cotton Fabrics, which makes me smile. The quilt measures 45″ x 54″ so is big enough to grow with the baby. And if you need it even bigger, just add more blocks.

The quilt is beginner friendly, and construction is not tricky. I walk you through the process – so if you are new to quilting, give this pattern a try! I’m happy to answer questions as you make the quilt as well. Pattern release coming soon – please check back!
Thanks for stopping by, happy quilting, Ann
